Now, the amenities and accommodations have expanded with the addition of an 8,000- square-foot event venue complete with high-end restaurant, bar, and lodging. Whether you’re planning an intimate, destination wedding or a multi-day corporate event, whether you’re entertaining investors or celebrating one of life’s milestone moments, The Venue at Covey Rise offers a unique and verdant getaway from the city—yet it’s only an hour from New Orleans or Baton Rouge.
The Wesley Restaurant and Bar within The Venue at Covey Rise features dining from chef Austin Kirzner with farm-to-table options, in an elegant, old-world atmosphere. With rich, mahogany accents and timeless décor, The Wesley speaks of elegance and refinement while providing state-of-the-art amenities. The main event space has been designed to accommodate 400 standing or more than 200 seated. Events can also be tailored for smaller groups and can be formal or casual. The recent addition of The Hideaways provides overnight accommodations just feet from the event space—but a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city—as well as hunting and other activities for groomsmen or corporate participants.

Yes, we charge a ceremony fee. It will vary by your needs of rentals ex: chairs, arbor, etc.
Yes, we do allow early access for event set-up. Typically, it can be available up to 3 hours prior but that is a case-by-case basis.
We have multiple rain plans that we can implement, if necessary. Depending upon your size we would use The Venue and then flip it shortly after for your reception or our Lodge. Another option is to rent a tent to use over the outdoor space. This would result in an additional charge if we have to rent a tent.
Yes, we do. Please see attached floor plans. We can vary from this but any additional tables and chairs would result in an additional charge.
We find that our menu has a wide variety and typically the children can eat from this menu. We do not include children in the wedding party as a guest count.
We charge a Venue Fee. It will vary by your needs of tables, chairs, plate-ware, linen rentals, glasses. There are no last minute additional charges unless you add on specialty linens, additional tables and chairs, etc.
Yes, we love special touches for the honoree couple! If you select a bar package there would be no additional charge for this option.
Yes! We have a Bar package priced at $22.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. This Bar packaged is billed for every adult in attendance. We do include non-alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks and iced tea.
We have several favorite vendors that we can recommend. Please contact us for more information on specific vendors.
We find that our menu has a wide variety. It is traditional New Orleans menu items so a tasting is not necessary. However, if it is an issue please contact me ahead of time.
We will do a run through prior to the wedding and will coordinate as it gets closer. We do have our Lodge which is the perfect location for a rehearsal dinner.
We can accommodate dietary and allergy needs for your guests. Please notify us ahead of time so we can make accommodations.
Yes! You can rent for yourself to use with your bridal party and relatives. We do have our Cabins, Hideaway's and Lodge available for your guest to rent. Please discuss with me for pricing and availability.
