The Spirit of Louisiana Embodied
It was from the spirit of South Louisiana that Covey Rise Lodge was born. We wanted to create a place for people to gather and appreciate the great outdoors, which hold a huge influence over all the treasures our region has to offer. By showcasing the local wilderness and all of its offerings, you’ll gain an appreciation for our unique state. At Covey Rise Lodge, the shooting facilities are the star of the show. Members and visitors can enjoy the Gun Club Room & Deck, shooting lessons, hunting excursions, and the expertise of professional guides.
The Lodge Life
Located outside of Husser, Louisiana, Covey Rise Lodge is approximately 25 miles northwest of Covington, making for a seamless drive from either New Orleans or Baton Rouge. On our property, there is the Chappapeela Retreat, which sits along a fifteen-acre lake and provides luxury cabin rentals to interested patrons. The Lodge itself also offers overnight accommodations, fine dining, and a venue for meetings, corporate events, parties, fundraisers, and weddings. Our facilities sit adjacent to Covey Rise Farms, a 50-acre farm that serves the Gulf Coast region.
