CLAY PIGEONS AND CAMARADERIE ON BEHALF OF COMMUNITY OF AUTISTIC INDIVIDUALS
Local nonprofit, The Chartwell Center, hosts 18th annual Louisiana Sporting Clays Classic at Covey Rise Lodge on October 24, 2020 to benefit its mission of providing educational, vocational, and therapeutic services to children and adults with autism. This outdoor event provides the space required for safety and social distancing.
Calling all of Louisiana’s sports men and women looking to shoot their shot for a worthy cause. The Louisiana Sporting Clays Classic offers a friendly shooting competition scored by Lewis Scoring system as well as food, drinks, and fun--all to support the Chartwell Center in its mission of empowering children and adults with autism.
Prizes are awarded to winning teams and works of art from local artists will be featured in the event’s silent auction.

“Along with all the enjoyment that the clay shoot has to offer, it is also a safe way to support our mission in a new age of fundraising. The clay shoot is a non-contact sport with stations spread out in the beautiful outdoors.” – Folwell Dunbar, Executive Director of the Chartwell Center. Chartwell Center is a New Orleans nonprofit (501c3) working to make a difference in the autism community. Chartwell is in its 20th year educating and providing clinical services to children and adults with autism ages two to twenty-five.
