As a preserve, our hunting season begins on October 15th each year and ends on March 31st.
Quail Hunt

Covey Rise Lodge’s quail hunts are $415 per person with a two-person minimum. This experience provides each hunter the privilege to shoot a limit of birds. The cost includes a professional guide, well-trained dogs, transportation to and from the fields in our vehicles as well as a complimentary lunch and cleaned birds. Both morning and afternoon hunts are offered with the first quail hunt at 9 AM and the second at 2 PM. For convenience, shells can be purchased. *tax, ammunition & gratuities not included in price

All too often, many duck hunts end with very little success, a muddy mess to clean, and a big load of gear to carry and store away. We want to help you take the work out of duck hunting by offering a fun and stress-free experience. At Covey Rise Lodge, our guided duck hunts take place from blinds, located along a flyway that was created specifically for our hunting experiences. There will be a maximum of three hunters allowed per blind, and every blind will have the option of 18 ducks for $895 or 30 ducks for $1,245. Join us for the best duck hunting in Louisiana. Includes a complimentary lunch and cleaned birds.

Full Day Quail/Duck Hunt

If you prefer the best of both worlds, check out our combination bird hunting package, which includes both duck and quail hunts. You’ll kick off your morning with a duck hunting trip, followed by lunch in our Main Luxury Lodge and a quail hunting trip in the afternoon. The cost of this hunting package is based on two hunters at $850/per person for a grand total cost of $1,700 per package. Like our other offerings, this trip includes a seasoned guide, hunting dogs, transportation, complimentary lunch and cleaned birds.

Pheasant Hunt

Our pheasant hunts are based on European-style pheasant tower shoots, where pheasants are released from a tower and hunters shoot from ten stations arranged in a circle around the tower. If you've never had the chance to experience this, you are missing out on a fun pheasant hunting activity that was a part of Europe’s heritage for many generations and a rare opportunity for those living within the Louisiana landscape. The cost of this service is based on the number of pheasants released per hunter, with a minimum of ten hunters and a maximum of 20 hunters.

Mixed Bag Upland Hunt

Our mixed-bag upland hunting package is a great selection for hunters who crave variety. This exciting hunt includes 12 quail, 4 chukar, and 2 pheasant per hunter. Like all of our hunting excursions, this trip includes a professional guide, hunting dogs, transportation to and from the fields in our vehicles as well as a complimentary lunch for each hunter and bird cleaning. Both morning and afternoon hunts are offered with morning hunts beginning at 9 AM and afternoon hunts beginning at 2 PM. This hunting package offers shots for twelve quail, four chukars, and two pheasants. For convenience, shells can be purchased on property.
